Darling Parade
Interview by Chris Koppers/image courtesy of Darling Parade

Pop/Rock from Nashville, TN?
A female fronted group with cool sounds? Your quest will end here.
Darling Parade got what you need to please your music player and the folks around it.

Kristin of Darling Parade had some moments for us:

Darling Parade, a Rock/Pop band from Nashville, TN. What can I expect from you as soon as I participate one of your gigs?

We always try to mix it up. Sometimes we have funny intros, and we constantly change our set to make it new and different for our fans that come see us every time we play in their city. You can expect that we will rock your face off, too.

How did it all start? What is your long term goal?

Most of us were in different bands before and were always the committed ones. Eventually, we found each other:) we are determined to make music our lifetime career, one way or another. I've never met people more determined than my band mates. You have released several EP's so far. Can we expect a full length album soon?

Yes! We have been In the studio for 3 months working on our first full length. We will have a release very soon:)

How is it being the front lady of Darling Parade?

It's awesome! I always get props for playing guitar. Trying to set the bar for female fronted acts:p

How is the music world treating you? Can you name us the source where you get your motivation from?

Music is my motivation, but it always helps to remind myself when I have a rough day that it could be much worse. I love hearing success stories from bands that make it far without having a single thing handed to them.Fans are also a huge motivation. It keeps you going when you hear someone tell you that your music has changed their life.

How important is social media for you?

It's very important. It keeps us connected with our fans!

How do you see your personal future? More gigs? Tours? Even through Europe or Asia?

We would love to tour overseas! I would say for now we want to cover as much ground in the us as possible. We want to tour year round.

Who supported you in the early days of Darling Parade?

Our family and close friends have encouraged us from the start. Without them, it would have been really hard to constantly push forward.

Where can we find/purchase your music?

You can find our music on iTunes, amazon, or by coming to a show.
